Bright House Networks is a member of Cable in the Classroom (CIC), a non-profit service of the cable television industry that matches the resources of cable television with the needs of schools.
Cable in the Classroom showcases a wide variety of educational, commercial-free programs on cable and illustrates the many ways teachers and parents can use them.
Every month, Bright House Networks sends a Cable in the Classroom magazine to local educators. The magazine lists more than 540 hours per month of commercial-free programming by subject area, providing sources for obtaining teacher support materials, and features articles describing how innovative educators are using the power of television in their classrooms.
