Birmingham Ala. - June 25, 2008 – Officials at Bright House Networks recently announced that all Road Runner Lite customers will receive a boost in speed on July 1st. The new speeds for Road Runner Lite customers will be 768Kbps download and 384Kbps upload. Road Runner Lite customers will not be required do anything to get the speed upgrade, as it will be provided automatically.

Road Runner Lite customers will continue to be able to view web pages, download e-mails, music, and videos at higher speeds. Additionally, the customers enjoy free 24/7 customer care service; free personal web pages; anti-virus, pop-up blocker, and anti spam software; up to 5 e-mail addresses, Webmail access, and parental controls.
